Hard Drive Shipment Agreement

  1. The Rapid Serve program is a free service for IBackup customers with 500 GB or larger accounts. Rapid Serve hard drives are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and while supplies are available.
  2. Hard drives owned, maintained and used for the IBackup Rapid Serve service are securely erased according to the DOD 5220.22-M(E) standard before being re-used.
  3. Once your Rapid Serve is received by our office it typically takes 5 to10 business days to transfer the data to your account. Occasionally, it may take take longer than 10 days due to high volume. For restore orders, it will take 2 to 5 business days for data to be transferred to a hard drive and shipped to you.
  4. You will be responsible for arranging shipping, handling, tracking and insuring the Rapid Serve hard drive back to IBackup. IBackup assumes no liability for a lost or damaged drive or for loss or breach of data during the return shipment process. You acknowledge that data is possibly stored unencrypted on the hard drive and that no sensitive data is included.
    1. You accept full liability for the Rapid Serve hard drive, its components and accessories while in your possession. If you experience any technical issues, please notify IBackup at support@ibackup.com.
    2. If the hard drive is not returned within four (4) weeks from the date it is received, IBackup will charge $200.00 replacement fee to the account.
    3. If the hard drive is received in a damaged condition, IBackup will charge $200.00 replacement fee to the account.
