Sr. Software Developer

IDrive.com, a leader in synced cloud storage and remote access services, is looking for a talented software developer who can understand requirements to define the architecture of the software system which includes high level design, coding, defining test strategy, defining security restrictions etc. Decide on software infrastructure to use for development, including coding language, development framework/platform, database, development tools, testing tools etc. Define non-functional requirements of the software and develop measure and test solutions.

Manage the software development life cycle, monitor and perform research relevant to the software, review code, supervise and perform testing etc. Adopt and follow industry’s development processes best practices including but not limited to source control, code integration and deployment, automated and manual testing, development tools, coding standards and guidelines etc. Find solutions for technical problem in coding as well as high level design.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors in Computer Science/EE/CE (Masters preferred)
• 5 years of related experience as Software Developer
• Ability to work well individually and with a team
• Willingness to put in extra hours to meet tight deadlines
• Motivated by writing great software
