Hard Drive Shipment Agreement

To use the Rapid Serve service, your data size for backup must be at least 100 GB. Anything less than 100 GB can be backed up at your end. It can take anywhere between a day to five, depending on the upload connection speed. If you feel that the initial backup may take longer, feel free to send us your hard drive. We will upload the data for you.
Only hard drives owned and maintained by Pro Softnet can be used for IBackup Rapid Serve. We securely erase all drives according to the DOD 5220.22-M(E) standard.
Once your Rapid Serve is received by our office, it will take 2-5 business days in order for your data to be transferred to your account. For restore orders, it will take 2-5 business days for data to be transferred to a hard drive and shipped to you.
Hard Drive Liability
1. You accept full liability for the Rapid Serve, its components and accessories while in your possession. Do notify Pro Softnet in case of technical issues with the Rapid Serve when it is received.
2. The Rapid Serve must be returned in at least four (4) weeks from the date it is received. If it is not returned, Pro Softnet will charge a USD 200 replacement fee to the credit card on the account.
You will be responsible for arranging shipment of the Rapid Serve back to Pro Softnet. Pro Softnet assumes no liability for shipping, handling, tracking or insuring shipments of drives back to our offices. Pro Softnet assumes no liability for a lost drive, loss or breach of data during the shipment process. You acknowledge that the data is stored in clear on the drive and visible to anyone who has access to the drive.
