Lock/Unlock files for collaborative access


The 'Lock/Unlock' feature enables real-time communication between collaborative users, signaling that a user has reserved a file for modification. This helps avoid overwriting of a file by two or more shared users.

IBackup's Web-Manager based Lock/Unlock feature provides a 'soft' Lock/Unlock option. This implies that the indicator that displays lock/unlock is for only for the purpose of information and does prevent a user from deleting/ modifying a locked file.
