IBackup releases Content Management Server IBCM 1.0 - Business Editors

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 2001 - IBackup (http://www.ibackup.com/), a division of Pro Softnet Corp., has released standards-based Content Management Server IBCM 1.0, based on the IBackup storage architecture.

IBCM 1.0 will let enterprises, ISPs and others host leading Web standards-based storage and related applications, including award-winning wireless applications for their employees, partners or customers. The initial release of IBCM 1.0 is compatible with Linux.

Using IBCM 1.0, enterprises can extend their network cost effectively with Web-accessible storage. IBCM provides a secure, scalable, and reliable means for businesses to quickly add Web-accessible standards-based file storage applications. In addition, file security and access permissions are handled just like traditional network security methods -- the designated administrator can assign access permissions and allot disk space quotas for specific users.

Using IBCM 1.0, enterprises can securely share its files through desktop-based applications or the secure "link"-based collaboration toolset. The link-based option even allows activity logging, file locking and many other advanced options.IBCM 1.0 pricing is based on the number of users; base prices start at $2000.
