+IBackup now offers on-demand storage and Sub-Accounts for all accounts. If your usage exceeds the storage plan that you have opted for, there is no compulsion to upgrade to the next higher plan. You are charged for over usage at USD 2 per GB/month. You can add Sub-Accounts to any plan at just USD 5/Sub-Account/month.
*Snapshots allow for historical read-only view of data for upto 10** days. The additional storage requirements for Snapshots have no bearing on your usable storage space.

What
is the ideal solution for online backups of huge initial backup sizes, say 100
Gigabytes of data? |
| |
With the growing need for online backup with initial sizes in 100's of gigabytes, IBackup provides for a faster initial backup solution via the physical transfer of data to a temporary storage device, shipped by IBackup to you. IBackup typically uses Snapserver 4500 for this purpose. You just need to copy data onto the Snapserver and ship it back.
Once your data is transferred from the Snapservers to IBackup’s primary storage devices, you can continue incremental backups through the online backup process. This provides an efficient means to establish online backups for datasets with sizes of over 100 GB.
The Snapservers are pre-configured with RAID 5 storage of upto 850 GB and DHCP. If you have DHCP servers on the LAN, simply hook up one of the Snapserver ports to the LAN and copy the data. If not, configure the Snapserver networking details to suit the network. IBackup personnel would provide necessary authentication information to configure the Snapserver. You need to ensure that appropriate packing material is used for proper handling of the device during shipment.
