Your files and folders in your online storage account are safe and secure on our Servers. All browser based data transfer operations including file and folder share use 128-bit SSL encryption during transmission. IBackup Drive and Multimedia Drive, the Network mapping applications have SSL encryption enabled by default. IBackup for Windows, the scheduler application has full 128 bit encryption by default.

Once you enter your username/password, subsequent communication is via 128 bit SSL including the username/password portion, and others cannot view the information as clear text. You should also see the pad-lock sign once you login. But when you just navigate to http://www.ibackup.com, the site is not secure as with almost any site on simple navigation.
