It is highly recommended for corporate environments due to its firewall friendliness and full 128 bit SSL support.  A WebFolder is a shortcut to a remote internet folder like your IBackup account. WebFolder is a convenient way to store and retrieve files between your computer and your IBackup account from Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.  WebFolders allow you to treat your IBackup account pretty much like a regular folder on Windows Explorer.

We recommend the IDrive application which maps your IBackup account as a Network Drive, hence offers more integrated feel with your Windows Explorer than WebFolders including direct editing of files. However, WebFolders, a Windows component remains a popular choice on the Windows platform. Both IDrive and WebFolders support full 128 bit SSL encryption for 98/NT/2000/XP platforms.

IBackup account can be accessed using WebDAV on Mac OS.
For Mac OS X, WebDAV client is a built in feature similar to WebFolders for Windows.
For Mac OS 8.1 and higher WebFolder access is possible using third party utilities.
