IB-Goliath is an excellent desktop interface for working with your online storage account IBackup.  All you need to do is download the application, double-click to install, and start the Goliath for IBackup application. You only need to enter your username and password to use the application. There are no complicated URLs to enter.

You can drag-n-drop with ease between your Mac desktop and IBackup. It is even better than Mac's own idisk, and offers following advantages over idisk:

- 128 bit SSL encryption by default, no special settings are necessary
- Storage options ranging from 50MB to 100GB
- Better performance, stability and scalability
- Better storage management through sub-accounts and other advanced options through the browser interface.

If you would like to use the default WebDav client built into every OS X instead of IB-Goliath,

1. Select the Connect to Server command from the Finder (Finder, GO, Connect to Server) or press Command K.

2. Within the Connect to Server window, type in the name of the IBackup's url to your account. Ex: http://webdav.ibackup.com/users/mjohn/Files . Replace 'mjohn' with your username. Mac OS X does not support SSL connections yet. But IB-Goliath does.

The latest version of IB-Goliath can be downloaded from this IB-GOLIATH CLASSIC link. For the OS X 10.0.4 and higher, please download from IB-GOL IATH OS X.

With IB-Goliath, users can:

View the contents of your IBackup account in a Finder-like fashion (including size, modification date and type)
Upload new files
Create new folders
Delete files and folders
Rename files
Use Drag & Drop

IB-Goliath is a customized version of the open source Goliath, making it easier for IBackup users to use the application without the need to type in a complicated URL. For details on Goliath, please visit http://www.webdav.org/goliath
