For CuteFtpPro, Please make sure you have the connection type set to Implicit SSL and set a value of 50000 KB or higher for use of the same session to transfer files in 'Transfer Settings'. This will help in reliable transfers even for slower connections. You can also choose Explicit SSL connection and set the port to 27.

For WSFTPPro, please make sure you have SSL option checked, and set the port to 27. You may be prompted to trust the SSL certificate. Please do so for successful FTP access using SSL.
