 What are the various subscription based storage plans offered by IBackup ?
IBackup currently offers the following subscription based plans through  online subscription. Users can also opt for yearly subscriptions online, which carries a 10% discount to the monthly plans.

If you have a Free Trial account and wish to upgrade your account to one of the subscription plans:

1. Login to IBackup using your Free Trial username/password.

2. After you login, Click on the My IBackup menu option on the web pages. Your current profile will be displayed and you can upgrade your account online from this page.

 When is my credit card charged ?


Your credit card is charged at the time of subscription and on the 1st of every subsequent month, during your subscription period.


 How do you charge for the first month of my subscription ?

For monthly subscription: The charges for the month of subscription is pro-rated
As an example, assume you selected the plan which allows you to store up to 500 MB  ( $10/Month plan) and you subscribed on the 16th of April. You will only be charged for the 15 days between 16th and the 30th of April, (including those two days). Your total charge for the month of April will be $5. For the subsequent months you will be charged at $10/Month. Your credit card will be charged on the 1st of every month. 

For yearly subscription: Charges for the whole year starting from the date of subscription is charged immediately on subscription.


 How is the refund calculated for the month I un-subscribe ?

For monthly subscription: The charge is pro-rated for the last month of your subscription. For example if you subscribed to the 500 MB plan (Up to 500 MB - $10/Month) and after a few months, you decide to un-subscribe from your existing plan, say on the 15th of the month. Since your credit card would have already been charged $10 for the month on the 1st of that month, you will receive a refund of $5 for the next 15 days till the end of the month.

For yearly subscription: Yearly subscriptions carry a discount to the monthly charges. When yearly subscriptions are cancelled before the subscriptions end, refunds are issued based on a pro-rated calculation of the subscription charges at the monthly rate for the plan, for the actual number of days the account was subscribed (the number of days between the most recent yearly charges and the cancellation date). If the calculated refund amount exceeds the yearly subscription rate, then no refund is issued.


 I am currently not an IBackup user. How do I become a subscribed member ?

To become a subscribed member, please complete our Registration Form and click on the Purchase Storage button at the bottom of the Registration Form.


 I have registered for your 30-day Free Trial offer. How do I become a subscribed member ?

If you have a Free Trial account and wish to upgrade your account to one of the subscription plans:

1. Login to IBackup using your Free Trial username/password.
2. After you login, Click on the My IBackup menu option on the web pages. Your current profile will be displayed and you can upgrade your account online from this page.

 I am already a subscribed member. How do I upgrade my IBackup account ?

If you are already a subscribed member and you need more space and wish to upgrade your account:

1. Login to IBackup using your username/password
2. After you login, Click on the My IBackup menu option on the web pages. Your current profile will be displayed and you can upgrade to a different subscription plan from this page.

 Where do I find help on using IBackup ?

If you need help using IBackup, please refer to our FAQ page, plus extensive real time demos are available for the products.


 Whom do I contact for any billing related questions ?

If you are a subscribed member and have questions related to your bill, please send an email to support@ibackup.com. Please mention your IBackup username in the email.


 When and how do the monthly charges appear on my credit card?

Monthly charges are usually executed in the first week of every month. However, some of the transactions may fail due to insufficient funds or for other reasons. In such cases, the charges are tried again after a week. This process continues till the middle of the month. Around this time, for failed transactions, emails are sent out to the holders of such credit cards mentioning that the cards are not being accepted for charges and they need to correct the information or provide new information. Final attempts at charges are made in the last week of the month, and cancellations are effected for card holders for whom the transactions were not successful after repeated attempts.

So, for majority of the users, the charges would appear in the first week of the month, and for some, it could be any time in the month due to reasons mentioned above.

Please note the charges appear under the head 'Pro Softnet Corp' or 'IBackup Pro Softnet Corp' or 'IBackup.com Pro Softnet Corp'. 


 How do I change credit card info on my Account Records?

Login to your account through a browser, go to 'My IBackup', click on 'change your credit card info', fill the necessary information and click on 'Update Card Information'.
