You can edit the MS Exchange Server scheduled backups using IBackup for Windows
Schedule Manager option. Select the option 'Schedule Manager' >
'Backup Scheduler' from the IBackup for Windows main tool bar.
Select
the backup job named 'IBExchangeServerBkset' and click on the Edit
icon available on the Backup Scheduler screen.
Note: Please note that at any given point of time, the user would be able to maintain
one backup job named 'IBExchangeServerBkset'. It implies that, when the user
tries to schedule multiple MS Exchange Server backup jobs with different content,
the IBackup for Windows Exchange Server Backup job will consider only
the last created Backup set. The latest Backup set will overwrite the previously
created Backup set.

Note: It is highly recommended that technically qualified persons perform the MS
Exchange Server restore operation. Wrong or incorrect usage of this Exchange Server
restore operation can result in irreversible damage to your Exchange Server files.
The following mandatory
steps have to be performed before initiating the MS Exchange Server Restore operation.
Step
1: Start the MS Exchange System Manager from Start > Programs > Microsoft
Exchange > System Manager.
Step
2: Right click on the Public Folder store/ Mailbox
stores that you need to restore and choose the Dismount Store option.
Step
3: Right click on the Public Folder store/ Mailbox stores
and choose the Properties option.
Step
4: Select the 'Database' tab from 'Properties' and then enable the option
'This database can be overwritten by a restore'. Now, click 'Apply' followed by
the 'OK' button to confirm the operation.
Perform
the steps 3 and 4 above for all the databases that need to be restored.
Note: Once
the above mentioned steps have been performed, it is recommended to close the
MS Exchange System Manager before initiating the restore operation.
Please
note that the restore operation will overwrite the existing databases on the MS
Exchange Server.
We
strongly recommend you to take offline backup of MS Exchange Server databases
that you need to restore before initiating the restore operation.

How do I restore emails using IBackup for Windows Exchange
Server Restore? |

You
may achieve this by performing the following steps:
Step
1: Start the MS Exchange System Manager from Start > Programs > Microsoft
Exchange > System Manager.
Please
note that even if you have to restore a single user mails, you must restore the
complete Mailbox store (Database), which is associated to that particular
user.
For example:
If you have to restore a particular user mails which is stored in First
Storage Group/Mailbox Store then the complete Mailbox store
has to be restored.
Step
2: Right click on the Mailbox store that you need to restore and
choose the Dismount Store option.

Step
3: Right click on the Mailbox stores and choose the Properties
option.

Step 4: Select the 'Database' tab from 'Properties' and then enable the
option 'This database can be overwritten by a restore'. Now, click 'Apply' followed
by the 'OK' button to confirm the operation.

Once
the above mentioned steps have been performed, it is recommended to close the
MS Exchange System Manager before initiating the restore operation.
Step 5: Login into the ‘IBackup for Windows’ application, and choose the option from the main menu item: Backup-Restore > Exchange Server > ‘Exchange Server Restore’.
Step
6: Select the 'Mailbox stores that you need to restore and specify the
temporary location to run the Hard Recovery.

Step
7: Click on the 'Restore' button to commit the operation.

Can I perform backups of individual mailboxes (Brick-Level backups) with IBackup for Windows? |

Yes, you can backup an individual mailbox or multiple mailboxes using the ‘Exchange Brick-Level Mailbox Backup’ feature available with IBackup for Windows 9.5.0 or higher.
The ‘Exchange Brick-Level Mailbox Backup’ method allows you to backup individual mailboxes present on the MS Exchange Server Store to your IBackup account. The application backs up the contents of the selected mailbox (or mailboxes) or an individual email to a Personal Folder (.PST) file that can be accessed using Microsoft Outlook at any time.
Please note that this is not a method for the complete backup or recovery of the Exchange Server databases. In order to perform the complete Exchange Server database backup or recovery, you should use the ‘Exchange Server backup/restore’ feature of the IBackup for Windows application.
