  When is my credit card charged?
   
 
It is charged at the time of subscription and subsequently on the 1st of every month, for the period of your subscription.

  How am I charged for the first month of my subscription?
   
 

Monthly subscription: The charges are pro-rated.
For instance if you sign up for a plan that provides 10 GB of storage space (USD 9.95/month plan), on the 16th of April, then you would be charged only for 15 days, i.e. between 16th and the 30th of April (both days inclusive). Your total charges for April would be USD 5. For the subsequent period, you would be required to pay USD 9.95 a month. Your credit card will be charged on the 1st of every month.

Annual subscription: You are charged for the entire year, beginning from the date of your subscription.

  How is the refund calculated and issued for the month in which I unsubscribe?
   
 

Monthly subscription: The charge is pro-rated for the last month of your subscription.
For instance if you opt for a 10 GB (USD 9.95/month plan) and decide to unsubscribe, say on the 15th of a particular month, you would receive a refund of USD 5 for the next 15 days, i.e. till the end of the month.

Annual subscription: Yearly subscriptions carry a discount, compared to monthly plans. However, when an annual subscription is cancelled, the refund issued is calculated on the basis of the monthly charge of that particular plan, on a prorated basis. Thus, if the calculated refund amount exceeds the yearly subscription rate, then no refund is issued.

  I have registered for your 15-day free trial offer. How do I become a subscribed member?
   
 

If you have a free trial account and want to subscribe to the service, follow the steps listed below:

1. Login to IBackup using your free trial username/password.
2. After you login, click 'My Profile' menu option under 'Account Maintenance'. Your current profile is displayed and you can upgrade your account online from this page.

You may also download and fax or mail the Subscription Form.

  I am already a subscribed member. How do I upgrade my account?
   
 

If you already have an account and wish to upgrade, just follow the steps listed below:

1. Login to IBackup using your free trial username/password.
2. Click on 'My Profile' menu option under 'Account Maintenance'. Your current profile will be displayed. Upgrade your account online from this page.

You can also download and fax/mail the Subscription Form.

  When and how do the monthly charges reflect on my credit card?
   
 

Monthly charges are usually deducted in the first week of every month. However, some transactions may fail due to insufficient funds/ other reasons.

In such cases, the procedure is repeated after a week and if this fails, then it is repeated in the middle of the month. At this point, emails are sent out to account holders of such credit cards informing that the card is not accepting the transaction or that they need to provide correct/fresh information. The final attempt is made in the last week of the month. Henceforth, account(s) of cardholders whose transactions were unsuccessful are cancelled.

Note: The deductions appear under the head 'Pro Softnet Corp' or 'IBackup Pro Softnet Corp' or 'IBackup.com Pro Softnet Corp'.

  How do I change the credit card information on my Account Records?
   
 

Login to your account through a browser, go to 'My Profile' and click 'Edit Credit Card', change the information and click 'Save Changes' to update your credit card information.
